Not surprisingly for a park of this size Chobe has a variety of quite different ecosystems. The two main focal points for game viewing are the Chobe River Front and the Linyanti Game Reserve in the southern corner of the park. These are described below.
Chobe

Chobe River Front Lodges: Chobe Safari Lodge, Muchenje Lodge, Chobe Chilwero.

Linyanti Game Reserve. The Linyanti is in the remote southern sector of Chobe national park. It comprises a unique mixture of open floodplains, thick mopane woodland and over 900km² of swamps. Together these habitats provide first rate game viewing with great numbers of elephant, buffalo, and zebra congregating at the lagoons, and healthy populations of lion, leopard and cheetah patrolling the grasslands.
