Baines' Camp

Baines Camp
Baines Star Beds
Ware based activities

This luxurious lodge, named after the 19th century explorer and artist Thomas Baines, is situated close to the Boro river in the Okavango Delta, on the border of The Moremi.

Set deep amongst the shady trees, Baines' five suites are designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding bush and partly created from local recycled aluminium cans. They are elevated on platforms above a crystal clear lagoon, the suites offer the Okavango's only fully mobile "star-beds" - mobile beds that give you the option of sleeping inside the suite or out under the stars. There is a swimming pool to relax in as well as some salas for relaxation

A wide range of holiday activities include day time and night time game drives, gentle paced mokoro trips, motorboat excursions and the opportunity to spend a morning walking with semi-habituated elephants. Sister to the nearby Stanley's Camp.

This is a water based camp and water activities are available all year round.
