Zibadianja Camp reopened in April 2008 as Zarafa Camp in a new location, completely redesigned with three new and spacious canvas tents (with a fourth for groups or pilots and guides).

With a maximum of six guests (or eight in one group), the emphasis here is on individual hospitality. The new tents have romantic bedrooms, en-suite facilities and a separate, private lounge area and private plunge pools.

The decor is that of the 1920's and the camp claims to ge the 'greenest' in Africa having used recycled materials for all that was possible. All the power supply for the camp, from the lights to the deep freezes are run on 220 volts supplied by the camps solar farm.

The camp is perfect for those who favour a more intimate personal experience or those who prefer the entire camp for their own, exclusive use. Activities at Zarafa are flexible to suit guests' particular interests and include game drives and entertaining nature/game walks.

All of the Chobe wildlife is present at Zarafa with a varied bird and mammal community. Abundant plains game can be found here including lechwe, kudu, buffalo, zebra and giraffe. It's also a predator-rich reserve including cheetah, wild dog, lion, and leopard. The massive herds of elephant are a definite highlight.
