Mozambique Family Holiday Ideas
Masai Mara & Mozambique family holiday

Visit the Masai Mara for the best wildlife viewing in Kenya – some would say Africa – then fly to one of the remotest and most exciting sections of the stunning Mozambique coast.
Safari holidays don’t get much more exciting than this, or better value. This trip has 3 free nights, and significant savings for children under 12 as well as for teenagers.

On this trip you will: see most of the ‘Big Five’ (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard & Rhino), do wildlife drives in a 4x4 safari vehicle, go on guided bush walks with a local Masai guide, snorkel on a private beach in the Indian Ocean, kayak, stargaze, visit some of the incredibly remote villages of northern Mozambique.  And if you get your timing right (July to Oct), you’ll most likely also see the great wildebeest Migration in the Masai Mara, and Humpback whales in Mozambique.

3 nights at Kilima Camp in the Masai Mara.
This beautiful camp has just 14 tents (including 2 specially designed for families), and is situated in a wonderful location offering some of the best views in the whole Masai Mara.

1 night in Nairobi.
Although a necessity visit to fit in with flight connections, Nairobi has a lot to offer – including a world famous Elephant Orphanage, and a Giraffe Rehabilitation Centre – both of which are a surefire hit for families.

7 nights at Nuarro Lodge in northern Mozambique.
One of the newest and most exciting beach lodges in the Indian Ocean, Nuarro is an eco lodge with 12 rooms situated on a stunning horseshoe bay.  Activities include diving, snorkelling, whale watching, cycling, kayaking and exploring the deserted sandy coves along the coastline.

Cost for a family of 4 – (2 adults, 2 children under 12) – off peak - £9772, peak summer holiday months… £11,177.

Choose to add: on a hot air balloon safari above the Masai Mara, as well as dive some of the most pristine marine environments left on the planet.
