| Tanzania and Zanzibar Family Holiday This is a fantastic private safari in Northern Tanzania and Zanzibar, ideal for those with young children, or those simply wishing to have some quality private family time. Check in at the Kenya Airways desk at London Heathrow for your overnight flight to Nairobi. On arrival into Nairobi transfer onto the connecting Kenya Airways flight to Kilimanjaro. 1 night Kirurumu Tented Camp, Lake Manyara National Park On arrival you will be met by your guide who will be with you for the duration of your safari. Your family will have your own private vehicle. You will depart by road in your 4x4 vehicle for Lake Manyara National Park and spend the rest of the day game viewing here. All meals and lodge activities included in this beautiful camp. 1 night Ngorongoro Serena, Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast depart by road for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater - spend your time game viewing in the crater, with a hamper lunch. When you are ready, drive out of the crater and stay overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena, all meals and game viewing activities included. Depart by road for the Seronera area of the Serengeti - this is one of the best year round wildlife viewing areas in Africa. During the journey you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge visitor centre (where you can view 2.5 million year old footprints of early man, and other fossils discovered by Dr Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey. There is also the oppurtunity to stop at the interesting Shifting Sands. 3 nights Serengeti Serena, Serengeti National Park, next to the Western Corridor and Grumeti River After spending the rest of the day game viewing, enjoy your stay here with all meals and game viewing activities included. Your days will be spent game viewing and as you will have your own private driver and guide you will be able to go wherever the wildlife viewing is best. Perfect for spotting the wildlife on your families wish list! Get dropped off at the airstrip for your flight to Arusha airport where you will transfer immediately onto a flight to Zanzibar. 5 nights Breezes Beach Club, South East Coast of Zanzibar Enjoy staying at this luxurious resort, where relaxation and having fun with your family is the aim. Get involved with watersports to keep your family entertained, or opt to simply do nothing! Breakfast and dinner is included here. 1 night Swahili House, Stone Town, Zanzibar After breakfast you will be met and transferred to the Stone Town to stay for one night at Swahili House, breakfast included. Be transferred back to Zanzibar airport in time for the early morning Kenya Airways flight departing to Nairobi, on arrival you will transfer immediately onto the flight departing to London Heathrow. Stay at the beautiful eco-friendly Serengeti Wilderness Camp which has only ten tents, and is away from the crowded lodges of the Serengeti during peak seasons, giving your family a wonderfully private experience. With game drives to some of the worlds best safari parks, you will be in the perfect place to spot the Big Five! Your family will be collected in Arusha and driven to Lake Manyara National Park. 2 nights Ngorongoro Farm House, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Enjoy a game drive through the park with a picnic lunch, before continuing on to Ngorongoro Farm House. Your stay here includes all meals. The spacious en-suite chalets are perfet for families, offering you an imaginary journey to the life of days gone by. Enjoy a day in the Ngorongoro Crater, where guests often see four of the Big Five in a short time. 3 nights Serengeti Wilderness Camp, Serengeti National Park From the Ngorongoro highlands, drive down to the Serengeti plains via Olduvai Gorge and possibly a Masai Village visit (optional extra at an additional cost and to be paid direct to your driver). With a picnic lunch en-route, enjoy game drives along the way, and full days exploring the amazing Serengeti. Staying at the Wilderness Camp includes all meals. In the month of May, accommodation will be at a lodge. Here you can you choose the option of flying back from the Serengeti to Arusha today. It is an exceptionally scenic flight over the highlands of Ngorongoro, across the vast expanse of the Rift Valley escarpments, and over the green coffee plantations surrounding Arusha airport. On a clear day, you will see amazing views of Mount Meru's dark profile rising up above the town, cloaked in wisps of cloud, and sometimes Kilimanjaro in the distance. This flight is an additional cost. Or... Drive back to Arusha, you will arrive in the late afternoon and a picnic lunch will be provided en-route.
