Tanzania Safari and Beach Honeymoon

Check in at London Heathrow for Kenya Airways flight departing early evening for Nairobi (8 hours). 

On arrival into Nairobi, transfer onto connecting flight to Kilimanjaro (50 mins). On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide who will be with you for the rest of the safari. After a short introductory briefing, depart by road in your private 4WD vehicle for Lake Manyara National Park (3 hours), and spend the rest of the day game viewing around the lake. In the evening stay overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena, all meals and game viewing included.  

Day 2

(Option)

For Lake Manyara Tree Lodge instead of the Lake Manyara Serena – add £165 per person to the overall cost.

Spend the morning on game drives in Lake Manyara National Park. Canoeing safaris and mountain biking can be arranged on request.  In the late afternoon depart by road for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (1 hour) to stay two nights at the Ngorongoro Serena, all meals and game viewing activities included.

Day 3

(Option)

For two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (tree suites) instead of the Ngorongoro Serena – add £595 per person.

Full day game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater, with early morning start to get down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor at first light.  (This is the time when game viewing is at its best, and the crater floor is least crowded.)  Overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena with all meals and game viewing activities included.

After breakfast depart by road for the Ndutu area of the Serengeti.  In February the game viewing should be at its best in this area.  During the journey can stop at the Olduvai Gorge visitor centre, and the interesting Shifting Sands. Stay for the next two nights at Ndutu Lodge, all meals and game viewing activities included. 

Full day's game viewing on the Serengeti Plains. 

After breakfast you will be transferred by light aircraft to Arusha airport.  On arrival take the connecting Precision Air flight to Zanzibar (1 ½ hours).

On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met and transferred by road to Matemwe Bungalows to stay for six nights with breakfast and dinner included. 

Day 7

(Option)

For six nights at Ras Nungwi, staying in a sea view chalet, breakfast and dinner included – add £285 per person to total price.

After breakfast you will be met and transferred to Zanzibar's Stone Town (1 ½ hours) to stay for one night at Emerson & Green, breakfast included.

Transfer back to Zanzibar airport in time for the afternoon flight to Nairobi. On arrival check in immediately for the Kenya Airways flight departing for London. 

Arrive into London Heathrow early the next morning.
