This 9 night /10 day safari combines mobile camping and luxury lodge accommodation for two nights at Modumo lodge deep in the Okavango Delta. Also visiting the Moremi Game Reserve, Savuti Marsh and Chobe National Park, this trip maximises game viewing opportunities – before ending up with a night at the edge of the stunning, world famous Victoria Falls.

The itinerary includes six nights of non-participation mobile camping. This means that you do not erect your own tent; this will already have been done when you arrive at the campsite. Tents are 1.8 metres high (high enough to stand in) with camp beds. Staff members (one guide and three camp staff) will also do all the camp chores and the preparation of the meals. The vehicles used are top specification 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers and Land Rovers.

Travel: Depart London Heathrow on overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival the following morning, transfer onto a connecting Air Botswana flight to Maun in Botswana (1 ½ hours).

Days 1 & 2. Okavango Delta: The safari officially starts in Maun, the nerve centre of the Botswana safari industry. After meeting with your guide, depart by charter flight into the Okavango Delta. Like an oasis in the bush, the Okavango offers a diverse variety of wildlife and birdlife unmatched anywhere in Africa. Stay for the next two nights in fixed tented chalets with en suite bathrooms at Modumo Camp. Modumo will be our base whilst exploring the Delta by mokoro and on game walks on the surrounding flood plains. Overnight in chalets (all meals included).

Days 3 & 4. Moremi Game Reserve: After an early morning breakfast we take a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta to the Moremi Game Reserve. The next two days are spent on game drives and game viewing in this 5,000 sq km reserve, one of the most beautiful in Africa. Overnight camping in Moremi Game Reserve (meals included).

Days 5 & 6. Savute: Our journey continues north along the Khwai River to the Savute Marsh, located in the southern sector of Chobe National Park. Famed for its lions, the Savute Marsh is situated near the Magwikhwe Sand Ridge, and is part of the ancient shoreline of an enormous inland sea formed in the area over two million years ago. Close to the Magwikhwe Sand Ridge lie the Savute Hills where there are many Bushman paintings on the vertical rock faces. Overnight camping in the Savute area (meals included).

Days 7 & 8. Chobe: We continue north in 4x4 vehicles towards the banks of the Chobe River where we will stay for the next two nights. During the dry season Chobe National Park has the highest concentration of game in Botswana - including one of the highest concentrations of elephants in the world - and our time here is spent game viewing in what is Botswana’s longest established park. Overnight camping (meals included).

Day 9. Victoria Falls: After breakfast we drive to Victoria Falls. The next two days are spent at your own leisure to enjoy the many adventure activities on offer, or to visit the Victoria Falls and explore the town. All activities at own expense. Overnight at the Rainbow Hotel or similar (breakfast included).

Day 10. Victoria Falls: After morning at leisure, we will transfer to the airport, where the safari will end.

Travel: Fly from Victoria Falls back to Johannesburg (1 ½ hours), where you will connect with your overnight flight back to London. Arrive the following morning at about 7am into London Heathrow.

Price: From £3,475 per person sharing. (Single supplement: £115)
