We are currently looking for staff for the following position;

Experienced Africa Travel Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced tailor-made Africa travel consultant to join our successful team in Clapham, South London.

We are an exciting fast-growing company where you can work to your strengths, earn some of the best commission in the industry, build on your product knowledge, get experience of all aspects of the business and most importantly of all, work in a positive environment.

Your role will ultimately be to achieve tailor-made travel sales but once you meet your targets the rest is up to you - fancy learning more about product management, negotiating with suppliers, getting involved in marketing, writing articles for newsletters, designing new web pages, promoting new properties.

Internship

We have a number of internships available in our different departments.

- Media and Marketing

- Sales admin

- Website work


Our internships offer fantastic opportunities to get experience of working for a leading luxury tour operator - based in our offices near Clapham Common, London. Our internships are unpaid, and last from 4 – 8 weeks.

We are a fast growing company, so we sometimes also have new paid vacancies. We recruit interns with the view of long term paid work if the right skills are demonstrated to fill vacancies as and when they arise.

Strong knowledge or travel experience to Africa would be advantageous, but main qualities required are:

-strong passion for travel
-attention to detail
-previous office experience
-high degree of numeracy
-excellent written English -advanced level of computer literacy (this is vital - especially in the use of microsoft word and excel)

- For specific internships (Media and Marketing, Sales Admin, and Website Work) please outline your relevant skills/ previous experience

Imagine Travel’s internships are great for someone looking to get their first job in the travel industry. Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential. Added to that, you'll need a positive pro-active attitude and a confident telephone manner.
