Little Shompole
Little Shompole consists of two vast private suites that are situated five minutes up the hill from the main lodge. Complete with enormous 9’x9’ double beds, large ‘cool-pools’, sun-deck, lounge and spacious bathroom with his and hers washbasins, these suites are the ultimate in stylish privacy.
Both rooms share a prive lounge and dining area, and a separate 37 metre horizon pool that overlooks Lake Natron basin and the volcanic slopes of northern Tanzania. Guests of Little Shompole also enjoy a dedicated team of staff, including butler service and private guides and game viewing vehicles.
Activities are run in exactly the same way as they are at the main Shompole Lodge. When you arrive, you will have a schedule organised specifically for you so that you can be as active or relaxed as you like.
Little Shompole Prices
From £276 per person per night. This includes all meals, all meals and drinks (including beers, wines & spirits), wildlife viewing activites, including the services of a private guide and 4x4 vehicle.
Park fees of $30 per person per night (£17) are extra.
Conservation and the Community
Shompole Lodge is the figurehead of a partnership between a private safari company and the Maasai of Shompole Group Ranch aimed at encouraging the conservation of wildlife and habitat of the area. The area is home to many species of animals and bird life and includes one of the most ecologically diverse habitats in Africa.
