The lodge's accommodation comprises five castaway-style cottages (one of which has two bedrooms). Each cottage has its own stunning location offering panoramic views. Far apart for total privacy, the rooms are connected to one another (and the top and bottom dining areas) by stone paths and steps threading steeply through the dunes. Spacious en suite bathrooms offer al fresco showers open to the stars. There are also two self-catering lodges – Mto Tana and Mulikani. Both sleep four people in two rooms, and are semi-open offering wonderful views.
Tana Delta Dune Lodge has plenty to offer to the more active guest including fishing in the creek, guided walks, boat trips and sundowners in the estuary as well as excellent game and bird viewing from the lodges private boat. Getting there Tana Delta Dune Lodge can be reached by air from Lamu. As there are is scheduled service, a private charter is required. Tana Delta Dune Lodge can also be reached by road from Malindi which takes approximately two hours.
