Il Moran Camp

Il Moran is a tented camp situated high on the banks of the meandering Mara River. Shaded under thick trees, Il Moran Camp has 10 enormous tents positioned far enough apart to offer plenty of privacy. The tents have en-suite bathrooms, double showers, impressive handmade olive-wood beds – which are possibly the biggest beds in Africa – and large verandas for private dining.

Il Moran Camp recreates the atmosphere of the original hunting safaris, with the dining room and central lounge area both under canvas. Meals are sumptuous affairs, and are often served outdoors to make the most of the fine location. There are various activities on offer including three game drives a day, guided walks or balloon flights over the wide plains of the Masai Mara.
