Little Governors Camp

The camp has 17 tents set around a waterhole which teems with birds and attracts plenty of big game. Each of the roomy tents at Little Governors Camp has an en-suite bathroom with a hot shower and flush toilet. From every veranda the view changes constantly as giraffe, elephant, zebra, hippo and warthog come to drink and graze. In keeping with safari tradition, lighting is by gas and kerosene lanterns or by candlelight.

Game drives are included at Little Governors Camp but game walks and hot air ballooning (from neighbouring Governors Main Camp) are at a supplement.

Little Governors prices include all meals and scheduled game viewing activities.

Park fees of $60 per person per day (£40) are extra.

Low season: 01 April – 31 May.

Mid season: 01 Jan – 31 March; 01 June – 15 July; 01 Nov – 14 Dec.

High season: 16 July – 31 Oct; 15 – 31 Dec.
