Mara Serena Lodge

Designed to fully exploit the stunning 360° views of the Masai Mara’s pristine wilderness, the main lodge and 73 guestrooms reflect the circular motif of a traditional Masai village. The secluded rooms blend in effortlessly with their surroundings, with each offering a spacious western-style bathroom and private veranda with magnificent ‘Mara-vistas’. Interiors also draw heavily from local influences, with rooms individually styled in exuberant bush colours. 

The friendly and attentive staff realize that game drives merely lift the lid on the Masai Mara treasure chest and have made a host of other activities available. Whether enjoying a champagne picnic in the bush, sundowners by the river or watching the wildebeest migration from the spectacularly located swimming pool, there is plenty to compliment the two daily drives into the most wildlife rich area of the reserve (the lodge often appeared on the BBC’s Big Cat Diary programmes). Those seeking more adventure may wish to indulge in bush walks with expert naturalists, hot air balloon safaris or cultural visits to surrounding villages.
