Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, Luxury Safari Holidays in Kenya

Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is a traditional, very comfortable bush camp, it is run by Alex and Diana Hunter and set in nearly100,000 acres in the Laikipia region of central Kenya, right on the Equator. This small bush camp on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy will offer guests the opportunity for a unique kind of safari experience in Kenya.

Ol Pejeta Bush Camp offer a four-night Interactive Conservation Safari which gives a new insight into modern wildlife conservation. Guests will gain a unique insight into daily life on this working wildlife conservancy and cattle ranch.

Guests are welcome to spend just one or two nights looking at some of these elements – or as long as they want – being as active, interactive, or as relaxed as they like when staying in camp.

Ol Pejeta boasts guided wildlife walks on the open plains and along the river, day and night game drives, rhino tracking with the Ol Pejeta rangers, individual rhino assessments with researcher identification material, Boran and Ankole cattle pastoral care, guided visits to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where orphan and rescued chimps are rehabilitated into family groups.

As well as this guests can learn how to use radio-tracking equipment to find, for example, the resident cheetah Toki.

There is also radio-collared lion tracking with the Ol Pejeta lion researcher, elephant and general wildlife monitoring with resident rangers and researchers.
 
Guests may be able to have the opportunity to observe special activities such as animal capture/release or translocations, for example, should they be going on during their time on the Conservancy.
