Olerai, is an enchanting country home on a beautiful farm in Africa.

It is nestled under yellow acacia trees and purple jacarandas and is fanned by a cool breeze from the shores of Lake Naivasha and is watched over in the far distance by the extinct blue volcano of Mount Longonot.

Olerai House has five exquisite en suite double bedrooms, fresh farm food, charming staff, wonderful climate, abundant bird life, superb excursions and walks midst throngs of wild animals.

Three to four days on the farm is the best way to unwind to get into an Africa mode before moving on to other adventures in the wilder lands of Kenya.

There are no rigid timetables at Olerai House. You can rise at dawn with the fish eagles and sunshine, step into Olerai's African gondola and drift along the lake-edge alive with birds and dozing hippos, or scramble over the back hills of the farm, lush with wild herbs, swim in the big tropical pool or play golf a few miles from the farm.  

Olerai House is located on the northern shore of Lake Naivasha, the only freshwater lake in the Rift Valley.

Surrounded by thick papyrus and forests of yellow acacia trees, Lake Naivasha is a haven for many animals including giraffes, buffalo, Colobus monkeys, and hippos.
