Iharana Bush Camp, Tailor-made Madagascar Holidays

Located 15km from Ambilobe the Iharana Bush Camp is an ecological camp with 8 bungalows built with local materials. The camp takes advantage of the nearby Ankarana National Park in a protected area and immerses you in a bush camp experience in direct contact with nature.

The rooms are in fact eight "cottages" or "cabanas. The organic arhitecture is inspired by traditional Malagasy habitat: mud walls in ocher and laterite, roofs satrana (palm), plant partitions; wood, roots, vines, granite.

The combination of materials gives the camp a very original character, in complete harmony with its environment. Each cottage is equipped with private facilities (shower-cold water - WC). A mezzanine houses the sleeping area, equipped with a king bed beautifully constructed wooden round and covered with a mosquito net.

The mezzanine is open on one side, and you can admire the open starry night A large terrace overlooking the lake has already become a favorite spot for lovers of sunsets: At each end of the afternoon, the massive cliffs of Tsingys magical glow of colors, the birds congregate and sometimes coronatus (lemurs) begin their twilight concert.

The kitchen built in the traditional way is also open to the restaurant, at once intimate and friendly, the restaurant is a large living spaces of the Bush camp. It serves a delicious and healthy cuisine based on local resources and is distinguished by the quality and freshness, simplicity found a subtle blend of local spices.
