Isalo National Park is located in the southwest region of Madagascar protecting 81,540 hectares of eroded sandstone massif and is known for its unique landscape of eroded sandstone formations. Due to the incredible scenery this is a fantastic area for hiking and visitors can enjoy the rock pools, gorges and dramatic canyons like Canyon des Singes and Canyon. The park is also home some interesting wildlife including the ring-tailed lemur, verreaux sifaka and more than 50 bird species (many endemic).

Ranomafana National Park is one of Madagascar's best known and most important parks with its rain forested hills and abundant wildlife. It was created in 1991 following the 1986 discovery of the golden bamboo Lemur.

Ifotaka is near the southern tip of Madagascar, 3.5 hours from Fort Dauphin and is home to the Antandroy tribe, regarded by many as the fiercest and most traditional in Madagascar. Ifaty is 20kms north of Tulear on the southwest coast and one of Madagascar’s most beautiful seaside resorts, with stunning beaches lined with filao trees, heavenly lagoons and one of the largest barrier reefs in the world. The other main attraction is the fascinating spiny forest with bloated baobab and drought resistant trees harbouring an amazing array of endemic species, a paradise for the nature lover and avid birder.
