Jardin du Roy blends modern luxury with a Malagasy touch within the hotel and gives a modern touch to its sandstone surroundings. The sandstone buildings are open-plan and very spacious - high ceilings and large rooms.

The fifteen rooms are spacious and each room has air conditioning, en-suite facilities and its own veranda. There are room safes, desks and comfortable beds with mosquito nets.

Jardin du Roy also has a swimming pool beautifully set within the gardens as well as a main communal dining room and bar.

Guided walks can be arranged from Jardin du Roy into the picturesque Isalo National Park known for its unique landscape of eroded sandstone formations. Due to the incredible scenery this is a fantastic area for hiking and visitors can enjoy the rock pools, gorges and dramatic canyons like Canyon des Singes and Canyon des Rats.
 
The park is also home some interesting wildlife including the ring-tailed lemur, verreaux sifaka and more than 50 bird species (many endemic).
