Manda Nkwichi Lodge
Manda Nkwichi Lodge is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mozambican shores of Lake Niassa. It has just seven chalets, all built from natural materials and nestled along the lakeside bush offering unique views across the crystal clear water. Massive four posters, open air baths and deckchairs at every turn invite you to relax and absorb the surrounding beauty.
During the day there are endless snorkelling spots, waterfall walks or sailing and canoeing expeditions available – while hammocks are on hand if you’d rather relax with a good book on the sandy shores of the lake.
The lodge is situated within the Manda Wilderness Reserve, a protected area of 600 sq. km that can be explored on bush walks and overnight camping expeditions. Wildlife includes leopard, elephant, buffalo, reedbuck, the rare sable antelope and over 300 species of birds.
