This is itinerary is perfect for those wanting to combine the beautiful South Luangwa, one of the great unspoilt wilderness areas in Africa, with a few days relaxing on the shores of Lake Malawi. Bordering on the Lake Malawi National Park, surrounded by islands, this is arguably the most beautiful spot on Lake Malawi.

Itinerary

Day 1
Depart from London Heathrow on British Airways flight to Lusaka.

Day 2
On arrival you will be met and transferred by light aircraft to the South Luangwa for a five night stay at Flat Dogs Camp in a luxury safari tent, all meals, two game-viewing activities per day, National Park Entry fees, the Luangwa Conservation & Community Fund contribution, laundry service and return Mfuwe airport transfers included.

Day 6
Light aircraft flight to Lilongwe. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Danforth Yachting for a six night stay in a luxurious lake facing en-suite air-conditioned bedroom, all meals, tea and coffee, early morning rusks and biscuits, cake at tea time, pre-dinner snacks, filtered drinking water, sparkling infinity swimming pool, complimentary bathroom supplies, coffee / tea station in rooms, laundry service, non-motorized water sports, kayaking, dingy & Hobie cat sailing and mountain bikes included.

EXCLUDED: Drinks (We run a tab for beer, wine, minerals and spirits), motorized water sports, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, boat trips for snorkelling and fishing, dingy / Hobie cat sailing with trained skipper, water sports tuition, scuba diving (Available on site. We are a registered PADI scuba diving resort) and use of yacht “Mufasa” for day sailing and sunset cruises. Subject to availability.

Day 12
Road transfer to Lilongwe Airport for afternoon South African Airways flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, check in for overnight British Airways flight to London Heathrow

Arrive into London Heathrow early morning.

Subject to availability, the cost of the above itinerary will be from £3,150 per person sharing inclusive of International and domestic flights as specified, airport taxes, transfers and activities as specified, accommodation, meals, transfers and scheduled activities as specified.
