When to go
In the Maldives the weather is mostly dry with very little wind between December and April whilst May to November brings the south-west monsoon and more frequent rainfall. However, we would class this destination as a year round destination and there are some great prices to go in non-peak season.
 
Getting there
British Airways have just started flying direct to Male from London Gatwick 3 times a week, Sri Lankan Airlines also fly direct to Male. Other airlines who fly are Emirates, Qatar Airways. On arrival in Male you are transferred to your island by speedboat or by sea plane – depending on where you are going.
 
Visas
A Tourist Visa (30 days validity) is issued on arrival free of charge.No official compulsory vaccinations. Typhoid vaccination is recommended, but please seek advice from your doctor or a qualified professional.
