Situated on an immaculate miniature island of Vabbinfaru and surrounded by a reef bound lagoon, the exclusive Banyan Tree is almost too good to be true. Silky soft sand, waving palm trees and the spectacular underwater coral garden form the backdrop for this luxury hideaway.

Eating is a wonderfully varied experience at the Banyan Tree. Casual during the day to suit the relaxed atmosphere and more formal at night, the standard of cuisine is exceptional. Fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling are a must in waters such as these which are not only crystal clear but teeming with exotic fish. Many other watersports are available but it is surely the evening ritual of feeding stingrays from the beach that is the most unusual activity on this fabulous island.
