Le Prince Maurice
Located on the northeast coast of the island of Mauritius, the Prince Maurice - a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group - is set in lush tropical surroundings, fringed by sandy beaches and an enticing lagoon.
An 'all-suite' hotel, the Prince Maurice has a total of 89 suites - which are situated either amongst the palms by the beach, or on stilts overlooking the lagoon. The majority of these are junior suites which are tastefully decorated in wicker, hardwoods and marble. Each has a large bathroom and a living area that opens onto a terrace or balcony. The twelve senior suites are individual villas - nine of which have their own private swimming pool. For the ultimate in luxury, the three bedroom 'Princely Suite' is located right on the beach and has two private swimming pools !
The main hotel is surrounded by a large freeform swimming pool and houses several lounges, boutiques and two restaurants; the a la carte 'L'Archipel' and the floating restaurant - 'Le Barachois'. Dining is something they take very seriously here, and the food is of very high standard.
There are a variety of complimentary watersports including hobie cat sailing, glass bottom boat excursions, water-skiing, laser sailing, snorkeling and scuba diving. On land, all holiday guests have complimentary green fees and unlimited golf at the nearby Belle Mare Plage (which has two 18-hole championship courses). There is also tennis and mountain biking, and a superb Guerlain Spa and fully equipped fitness centre.

Suites
76 Junior Suites (70 sq. m) - thatch roofs, terrace or balcony, indoor sitting area, bathroom with double vanities, connecting junior suites are available.
12 Senior Suites (130 sq. m) - individual villas (nine have a private swimming pool), thatch roofs, living room with dining area, walk-in closet, outdoor soaking bath and terrace.
1 Princely Suite (350 sq. m) - located right on the beach, three bedrooms, kitchen, terrace/dining area, two swimming pools.
