Azura’s villas blend modern chic with all that is traditional in Mozambique. The creature comforts you would expect from a luxury boutique resort are there, set off by beautifully carved beams and traditional artwork beneath a local thatched jekka roof. Each of Azura’s villas are just footsteps from the beach.

Wander down to Azura’s pristine white beach and welcoming azure sea beyond. Or lounge around on plump cushions and have your Azura butler serve you tea. Tan in private beneath the swaying palms, and cool off in your sparkling Azura plunge pool. Dine on your deck, or sip an Azura cocktail in your beachside Sala as the sun goes down.

Azura’s staff are always on hand to look after your every need. Azura offer an exceptional fine dining experience. Fresh local Mozambican produce, much of it home caught or home grown. Azura’s top international chef’s signature dishes will not disappoint, and nor will Azura’s extensive wine cellar, which includes fine wines flown direct from Azura’s owner’s chateau in France’s Loire Valley.

Azura’s activities are based around the sea. You can snorkel or dive, fly fish or big game fish. Go out with Azura’s Dugong protection team and search for the shy endangered mammal. Or help us protect and release the turtles from their nests on Azura’s shores. Sail on the dhow, or cruise to deserted beaches to look for pansy shells. Swim with the dolphins, who are regular visitors to the Azura beach, or track down humpback whales on their migration past our shores. 

Azura also has a spa which is nestled into the dunes and whose signature treatments are based on local ingredients and traditions. Be rubbed down with ground coconut shells and natural spices, covered head to toe with tamarind and aloe, and gently massaged with warm marula oil.
