"with ever escalating prices of beach lodges in this part of Mozambique, I think Bazaruto Lodge offers the best value option in the Archipelago by a mile (its about half the cost of Marlin Lodge). The food was not over-elaborate, but it was good, and I really enjoyed the waterskiing and sailing."

BEN'S VIEW... "I stayed here in September 2009 and the overall standards at the lodge were much higher than I'd expected. Another important thing to mention is the beach... its superb, but the sea is very tidal directly in front of the lodge, so at low tide it can have retreated more than a kilometre. But the lodge will run guests 5 minutes up the coast to an amazing private beach if you want to have a lazy day sunbathing right by the waters edge."
