Bazaruto Lodge
Situated on Bazaruto Island, this lodge has 25 "A-frame" thatch-roof bungalows set amongst lush tropical gardens. The comfortable rooms are all en-suite and tastefully decorated in an African theme. A wide range of local and international cuisine (including lots of tasty seafood) is served from the lodge restaurant and snacks are available from the attractive open-air beach bar.
Bazaruto Lodge has a freshwater swimming pool, games room and fully equipped dive centre catering for beginners and experienced divers. Amongst the other holiday activities on offer are: water-skiing, yachting, landrover hire, dhow trips, boat excursions to the island of Santa Carolina and sailing. Guided 4x4 island drives provide an opportunity to track down the island’s wildlife which includes samango monkeys, freshwater crocodiles, various small antelope and over 240 bird species.
