Barra Lodge
Situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Mozambique, Barra Lodge enjoys panoramic views of the powder white sands and turquoise seas of the Indian Ocean. The lodge nestles amongst groves of coconut trees and the secluded beaches offer safe swimming all year round.
A variety of accommodation options are available including 16 twin bedded casitas, 4 family casitas, 20 self catering lodges and 2 comfortable bunk houses. There is also a luxurious live aboard yacht. The casitas are built from local materials and are well equipped with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms and beach views. The houses and cottages are suitable for groups and families and also have good facilities. A cosy beach bar and tasteful restaurants are perfect places to relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere.
Watersports are a firm favourite at Barra. The virtually undiscovered reefs ensure excellent snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities. Ocean safaris are offered including regular whale watching opportunities. Other activities include yacht trips, fishing, sighseeing, horse riding and quad biking.
