The goal is to share the spectacular diversity of the marine environment here with guests from all over the world, while at the same time helping to ensure the future protection of the area’s rich natural heritage and sharing the benefits of eco-tourism with local communities in a meaningful way.

It is the only lodge in the area that is totally powered by clean and sustainable energy. The lodge has two solar tracking systems which harness the sun’s energy, resulting in the lodge being completely self-sufficient and off-grid.

The Humpback Whales migrate from their Southern feeding grounds to warmer waters where they give birth to their calves. During the months of July - September, the sightings of these magnificant creatures, from sea or land, can be spectacular.
