Scuba Diving
The scuba diving in Tofo is truly world class. Conditions are good for diving all year round. The summer months are best for seeing whalesharks. Although they are here all year, November to March are the best months to see them and the water is warm, around 28 degrees centigrade.

Surfing
Tofinho beach is renowned for being the surf capital of Mozambique. Café No Mar is based just a two minute walk from the best surf in the area. The waves in Tofo are perfect for beginners and for the more experienced, go to Tofinho and Back Door beaches.

Horse Riding
One of the best ways to see the beautiful stretches of beaches and stunning countryside surrounding Tofo is from horse back. Rides are one and a half hours along the beaches and through the dunes, villages and countryside.
