Mozambique Safari and Beach Holidays

Lake Niassa (the Mozambican name for Lake Malawi)

Lake Niassa forms the border between Mozambique and Malawi. Its gin-clear waters stretch for hundreds of miles surrounded on either side by a wilderness of thick indigenous forest.

Manda Nkwichi Lodge - Mozambique Safari and Beach Holidays with Imagine Africa

Lake Niassa is easily accessible from Lilongwe, the Malawi capital, and its tranquil shores and relaxing leisure activities form a perfect counter balance to a safari in nearby Zambia

Using charter flights it is also possible to combine Lake Niassa with the Quirimbas Archipelago on the northern coastline of Mozambique, as well as the Niassa Wildlife Reserve. The cost of these flights at the present time is very expensive, however as more and more people visit these areas the prices are likely to come down.

Manda Nkwichi Lodge
and Kaya Mawa are two unique and incredibly remote beach lodges on the shores of the lake.

Pumulani is an exclusive beach lodge on the protected shores of Lake Malawi. It opened on 1st July 2008 and is the only luxury accommodation set within the Lake Malawi National Park.
