Itinerary

Day 1
Your Okavango Delta experience begins today as you arrive at Maun Airport in Botswana where you will be met by a Xakanaxa Camp representative and helped to your seat in a light aircraft charter flight. You'll then fly to Xakanaxa Camp, a luxurious tented bush camp in the heart of Moremi Game Reserve.

Day 2-4
The days can be dedicated to exploring Moremi Game Reserve on boating safaris, game drives and even mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions. The reserve and the greater Okavango Delta is a pristine wilderness area. Towering riverine forests, open savannah, seasonal floodplains, permanent lagoons, rivers and the intricate channels of the Okavango Delta surround the camp and makes for a varied habitat with abundant game year-round.

Be on the lookout for hippo, elephant and buffalo, all of which regularly congregate on the river banks. In the evenings, you can enjoy superb cuisine at Xakanaxa Camp on the outdoor dining deck.

Day 5
On arrival into Johannesburg, transfer to your overnight hotel and spend the evening relaxing. Day 6 Transfer from your hotel to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to catch the first flight of the day to Maputo in Mozambique.At Maputo airport you will meet your helicopter pilot who will fly you out over Maputo, across the Maputo Elephant National Park with flamingo’s, elephant, hippo and crocodile below. After 25 exhilarating minutes you will land at White Pearl in time for lunch at the beach bar.

Days 6-10
Honeymooners at White Pearl Resorts can do as little or as much as they like. You can wake up to a magnificent breakfast and then spend the mornings paddling kayaks along pristine waters inhabited by leatherback turtles and playful dolphins or exploring the magical coral reefs.

If you both are the more adventurous type, you can go horse riding along the stunning coastal trails. In the afternoons, after feasting on fresh seafood for lunch, you can both soak up some rays on the beach or treat yourself to a sumptuous spa treatment. In the evenings enjoy sundowners on a secluded beach, while gentle waves cool your feet. Guests can complete their day with a gourmet romantic dinner on their private deck.

Day 11
Depart White Pearl in the morning after perhaps an early morning walk or swim in the ocean. Your return helicopter flight will take you back to Maputo International airport for connections on to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Nairobi and Durban.
