Ibo Island Lodge
Ibo Island lodge is located on the prime waterfront site within Ibo Islands large west facing protected bay. The elevated patio areas are a stones throw from the sea, where romantic dhows sail on each high tide, and the lodge offers a classic island experience, and with just fourteen luxury rooms the service is personal, and the food exceptional.

Situated on the outskirts of Ibo Islands’ main settlement, staying here, one feels very much a part of the islands community, and this is a large part of the charm of the ‘Ibo Island experience’.
Accommodation
Ibo Island Lodge comprises three mansions called Villa Paradiso, Villa Niassa and Villa Bela Vista. Each are over a hundred years old, with magnificent high ceilings and metre thick walls which help the buildings cool during the day.
The 14 rooms are split between Paradiso and Niassa, whilst Villa Bela Vista houses the communal areas of the lodge, including the restaurant, shop and patio area. All Ibo Island Lodges' rooms are en suite, and are individually designed, boasting antiques, handcrafted furniture and magnificent wooden doors and shutters that evoke the building's original design. The wide verandas have mahogany and teak day beds, carved by Ibo Islands' excellent carpenters, and are decorated in vibrant local fabrics.
Food
Meals at Ibo Island Lodge feature freshly grow organic vegetables, herbs and fruits and combine traditional specialities with seafood: giant tiger prawns, game fish and Ibo's speciality: crab with fragrant coconut rice. Romantic dinners are served on the verandas or on the rooftop terraces all with awesome views over the sea.
