Halali Restcamp is smaller and whilst its waterhole is not as busy as Okaukuejo, its central location within the national park makes it an excellent base for exploring.
On the east side of the Etosha, Namutoni is a striking restcamp converted from an old German fort. Accommodation is comfortable and there is a swimming pool and floodlit waterhole. If you are in camp for sunset you can climb the fort for stunning views across the salt pan.
Onkoshi, is the latest edition to the Namibia Wildlife Resorts portfolio. Nestled on the rim of the pan on a secluded peninsula, Onkoshi Camp is a low impact, environmentally friendly establishment with only 15 units (30 beds), which guarantees a truly personal and exclusive experience.
The location is entirely out of view of current tourist routes, and all other developments in the area, and thus offers a pristine, tranquil and unique experience.
Guests arrive in Namutoni from where they are transported to Onkoshi Camp in NWR vehicles.
Dolomite Camp is located in western Etosha National Park, near the Dolomietpunt waterhole.
Prices
From £55 per night for a 4 bed chalet, self catering.
