Serra Cafema Camp is probably the most remote camp in southern Africa. It is located in the extreme north-west of Namibia and is accessible by aircraft or on a mobile safari with a very experienced quide. This small camp is situated under ancient Albida trees overlooking the Kunene River and has eight luxury canvas and thatched chalets which are raised off the ground, with en suite bathrooms and river views.

Serra Cafema Camp is located in the remote Kaokaland West area to the extreme northwest of Namibia. In this truly remarkable setting on the south bank of the Kunene river at the northern end of the remote Hartmann Valley, this camp is one of the most extraordinary in Africa.

The rugged scenery is contrasted by the super-luxury camp, comprising elegant public areas, a small pool and eight wonderful suite rooms, all raised up on stilts above the water.

Activities are centred around some superb vehicle, walking and quadbiking expeditions, taking in amazing desert scenery, desert game and remote Himba villages.

Boat trips on the river provide contrast, with birding and crocodile viewing on the menu.
