Sossusvlei Desert Lodge is located in the Northern corner of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, on the eastern boundary of Namib Naukluft National Park, Namibia. Accommodation at Sossusvlei Desert Lodge comes in the form of just ten stone and glass desert villas spread out along the curve of the escarpment affording absolute privacy.

Each spacious, air conditioned suite features a shaded deck, split level bedroom and living room with a fireplace for winter evenings, en suite glass encased bathroom and outdoor shower.

The villas are also equipped with a star viewing skylight, fully stocked personal bars, compact telescopes for game spotting.

On deck, below the main lodge, guests can enjoy a dip in the pool fed with water from an underground spring, with a panoramic view of the desert stretching as far as the eye can see – at sunset animals are drawn to a nearby waterhole which add to the delight of an evening sundowner.

The safaris here are guided by expert resident rangers who guide guests through this desert wonderland on walks, in open safari vehicles and quads – even from a hot air balloon. Excursions to the famous Sossusvlei dunes, the highest in the wolrd, are unforgettable.
