Sossusvlei Lodge is located in Sesriem, right next to the Sesriem Gate in to the Namib Naukluft Park. The lodge is dominated by a large water tower that gives spectacular views of the desert plains and out towards the red sand dunes of the Sossusvlei area.

The lodge has 45 air-conditioned en-suite rooms and 3 family units that cater to children of all ages.

Each unit has a canvas roof and panels with tiled floors and is simply decorated inside.

Most units have verandas overlooking the desert plains and are spaced and arranged in such a way as to maximise privacy.

Meals are either served as buffet straight from the outdoor grill area or a la carte, and are all taken in the outdoor dining area where you can enjoy the floodlit waterhole and the fantastic Namibian starlit sky.

The lodge has a lively vibe to it, and is well-suited to families and couples alike.

A small swimming pool, outdoor bar and dining area, activity centre and a floodlit waterhole attracting springbok, ostrich, oryx and jackal provide plenty of entertainment in-camp.

The lodge’s Adventure Centre also offers excursions in to the nearby Sossusvlei area to see the famous giant sand dunes, or to the Sesriem Canyon.

For those wanting an alternative view of the dunes, quad biking trips and hot air balloon rides are available.
