This traditional hotel is one of the oldest in the town and arguably remains the best of the larger facilities.

Public areas contain a small lounge, pleasant bar and an award-winning if rather old-fashioned restaurant with a dress code.

The 58 rooms are centred around a small inner courtyard, are again rather old-fashioned in terms of decor, but pleasant enough.

Hansa Hotel is very well managed and the service is usually very sharp.

Its old world charm and the hotel's restaurant which serves excellent fresh sea food and do an amazing moca coffee make the Hansa Hotel a good choice in Swakopmund.
