Honeymoon in Oman
A relatively short flight, guaranteed winter sun and a relaxed mixture of nature and culture makes the Sultanate of Oman an ideal honeymoon destination. The country is safe and the people are welcoming and friendly. Choose to relax by the pool in one of Oman's stunning hotels, or, for the more adventurous, there is snorkelling or diving in Oman's marine park, 4wd adventures over the dunes or nights spent camping in the desert under the eastern stars!
Scuba Diving in Oman
The waters of Oman represent an underwater paradise for diving & snorkelling with its wide variety of marine flora and fauna. Huge table corals, beautiful black coral, colourful whip and teddy bear corals abound while the fish ranging from the little cleaner wrasse to the enormous whale shark jostle for attention.
When to go to Oman
The winter season is actually the best time to visit Oman. In the daytime, the bright sunshine generates a feeling of warmth and well-being. You can enjoy a lot of outdoor activities then in the golden beaches of Oman or just visiting numerous monuments, markets and museum at Muscat, the capital city of Oman. The rainfall in Oman varies from one region to another. In Salalah, there happens a light monsoon rain in the months of June to September whereas in the coastal region heavy rainfall is observed sometimes. However, we would class this destination as a year round destination and there are some great prices to go in non-peak season.
