La Digue Island Lodge, Luxury beach holidays in The Seychelles

This beautiful lodge is the main hotel on La Digue and is located on the stunning Anse Reunion beach. It sits amidst an abundance of tropical foliage, vibrant flowers and shady coconut palms.

The lodge offers a wide variety of accommodation including a nine-roomed traditional house, 35 rustic wood thatched chalets and 60 other spacious rooms. The attractive Yellow House was built during the colonial period and is listed as a Seychelles ‘National Heritage’ building.

Each tastefully renovated double room has its own spiral staircase to a private bathroom. Other chalets and rooms are located in the lush vegetation of a tropical garden and all are near the powder white sands of the beach.

They all have good facilities including en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and televisions. There is also a small village hidden away in the fertile gardens. Each of these seven spacious rooms has its own private veranda.

Guests can enjoy superb Creole cuisine in the airy restaurant with its sandy floor and high thatched roof.

The lodge also has a poolside restaurant and bar where guests can sample delicious cocktails while relaxing in their own corner of the turquoise pool.

The lodge’s certified diving centre offers excellent diving and snorkelling around the island and there are daily excursions to neighbouring islands famous for the beauty of their colourful marine life and the diversity of their fauna.
