Banyan Tree
The luxurious Banyan Tree Seychelles is situated in the breathtaking Intendance Bay at the southern tip of Mahe. Positioned on a pristine white beach overlooking the glittering Indian Ocean, the 47 deluxe pool villas are all built in a traditional colonial style, and are surrounded by shady palm trees, tropical flowers and lush forest.
A variety of room types are available and all villas enjoy private swimming pools, king sized beds and spacious sundecks. The villas are set into the hillside and all have spectacular views of the beach and ocean. The Presidential Villa is perhaps the ultimate in luxury and is hidden away in its own private cove.
The Banyan Tree's facilities are excellent and include a gym, gallery, and private spa where guests can relax and rejuvenate while enjoying picturesque views of the bay. Cuisine is outstanding with several restaurants cooking a tempting mix of Creole, Asian and European dishes.
Activities centre around relaxing or exploring the natural beauty of the island with its towering mountains and golden beaches. Island hopping trips are available and there are opportunities to visit rare bird and tortoise colonies. Watersports are available depending on the season.
