Black Parrot Resort

The luxurious Black Parrot Hotel is perched on a lush hillside overlooking the sea.  Situated on the southwest coast of the island, the hotel has an amazing location, flanked by two brilliant white sandy beaches and built amongst exposed natural granite.  All of the twelve verandas have wonderful panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the surrounding islands. The hotel is named after the rare black parrot, found only on the island of Praslin.

All of the suites are spacious and luxuriously furnished with air conditioning, en suite bathrooms and a large four-poster bed. The resort has a large swimming pool with sun loungers and a pool bar. In addition, there is a long stretch of sparkling white sand, perfect for relaxing in the sun.

The hotel offers a wide range of water sports, including windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling. Scuba diving is a must for all guests wishing to explore the colourful reefs and diving courses are offered. Other facilities include a fitness centre, squash and tennis courts and bicycle hire to explore the island.
