Paradise Sun lies by the soft sandy beaches of the Côte d’Or on the north-east coast of Praslin. The island is renowned for its tropical rainforest, suggested by some to be the original Garden of Eden, its beautiful beaches and calm turquoise waters.

The accommodation takes the form of 80 Creole-style chalets, set in a lush tropical garden.

The uncluttered simplicity of these chalets provides luxurious, cool comfort and each chalet has a separate bathroom and veranda overlooking the gardens and pristine beach.

The bars and restaurants serve a delicious variety of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables in the traditional Creole style. There is traditional Sega dancing and other evening entertainment in the bars and restaurants.

The warm, clear Indian Ocean is perfect for water sports which include canoeing, windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba diving.

Bicycles or 4x4 vehicles are available to explore the island’s tropical rainforest or to visit its secluded bays.

“Island hopping” is also recommended and there are regular excursions to the neighbouring island of La Digue and other smaller islands.
