Sailing Options

We offer an excellent selection of yachts, sailboats, catamarans and powerboats.  These can be hired in a number of different ways; namely as day charters, bare boat charters, skippered charters, fully crewed charters, or by the cabin (more like a traditional cruise - where the boat has a set departure date and you just book a place on the trip).

With a day charter you can visit as much as four different islands.  This option works well for both couples, and larger groups.  Lunch is included and can be served on board or on a secluded beach.  Apart from island visits, snorkelling, fishing and other water sports are also offered.  Different sized yachts and sailing boats are available depending on group size.

Bare Boat Charter

Similar to renting a car, this option is only possible if at least one client has either a valid boating license or good sailing experience (we would require confirmation of this at the time of booking). Upon boarding a refundable deposit is payable to our yachting agents in the Seychelles - and is returned in full at the end of the charter - unless any damage has been incurred.  Any food and drink that is required can be delivered to the boat before departure.

Skippered Charter

This is like renting a chauffeur driven car.  The skipper is a professional sailor, and he or she takes care of the boat but is not in charge of cooking and cleaning.  Again, a fully refundable deposit is payable on departure to cover any possible damages to the onboard equipment such snorkelling equipment, cutlery, etc.  Any damages incurred to the boat are the responsibility of the skipper, not the customer.  We can arrange for any food and drink that is required to be delivered to the boat before departure. 

For first-time visitors to the Seychelles islands, a skippered charter is the best option as our experienced skippers know all the best secluded beaches and lagoons.

Fully crewed charters include a skipper and one a cook/steward.  All our cook/steward’s are professional cooks, and are graduates from the Seychelles Tourism School.  The crew is also responsible for cleaning the vessel including bathrooms.  A variety of food and beverage options are available, including a full board option.  As with the Skippered Charter, a refundable deposit is payable to cover any accidental damage to onboard equipment. 

By the Cabin Charter
Cabin Charters are possible only aboard the bigger catamarans and the traditional topsail schooners.  These vessels have set departure dates and followed a pre-arranged routing.  It is much like a cruise ship: you book a cabin with full board and all departures are guaranteed.
