Alphonse Island

Situated about one hour south of Mahé, Alphonse Island is a small sun-drenched coral island only 1.2km wide. The lodge offers its guests the spacious comfort of twenty-five air conditioned chalets and five luxurious villas. Built on stilts with thatched roofs and large sea-facing verandas, they are tastefully furnished with traditional exotic woods. Each villa has its own private jacuzzi and outside shower.  Resort facilities include a restaurant that serves delicious Creole and international cuisine, a well-stocked bar and a refreshing swimming pool.

The resort offers many land-based activities including tennis and cycling or just relaxing on one of the many secluded beaches. Water sports include windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving from the resort’s own dive centre. The coral surrounding the island is unspoilt and creates a colourful marine environment ensuring an amazing diving location.
