This tranquil haven has lush tropical vegetation, abundant wildlife, colourful coral reefs and calm turquoise lagoons.

The lodge offers simple, comfortable accommodation in 24 individual fan-cooled bungalows, each with a king size four poster bed, lounge area and patio overlooking the verdant gardens and sea. There are no televisions, ensuring that guests can relax in truly undisturbed natural surroundings.

The island’s restaurant serves a buffet of delicious Creole cuisine using freshly caught fish and island vegetables. Relaxation is the emphasis of a stay on Bird Island. The beach that surrounds the island provides excellent swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing.

The Lodge has snorkelling equipment and a glass-bottomed boat to explore the island’s coral reef and the variety of life that occupies it.
