Desroches Island
The picturesque island of Desroches is just an hour’s flight southwest of Mahé. It has seven and a half miles of immaculate white sand and idyllic turquoise waters. The surrounding coral reef is home to an array of colourful fish and rare Hawksbill turtles, making it perfect for diving and snorkelling.
The resort consists of twenty suites, which are decorated in warm tropical colours and set amongst swaying palm trees, just metres from the beach. The rooms are a tasteful mix of traditional island style and modern comfort. Each room has a king size bed, en suite bathroom, mosquito nets and air conditioning with ceiling fans. Comfortable armchairs offer an irresistible invitation to relax and enjoy a good book in the refreshing breeze.
A tempting mix of international and Creole cuisine is served throughout the day. Light lunches can be enjoyed on the beach, in shady hammocks or on a sun lounger by the pool. Activities include world-class diving and snorkelling, cycling and tennis. Exploring the island is easy and cycling through tropical forests or round the scenic coastline is an unforgettable experience.
