Fregate Island

Frėgate Island is stunning hidden gem in the Seychelles archipelago.  Pristine palm fringed beaches, tropical forests and azure seas make this an idyllic island getaway.  Frėgate Island Private is the only resort on the island and is run with a deep commitment to maintaining this delicate habitat and its wildlife.

The sixteen spacious villas are designed to blend into the beautiful natural surroundings.  Built from traditional materials, the décor is influenced by Thai and Balinese culture.  Fourteen of the villas sit on cliff tops with panoramic views of the glittering ocean, while the other 2 nestle in fertile tropical gardens.  The villas are tasteful and luxurious and each has excellent facilities including an en-suite bathroom, jacuzzi, daybed and air conditioning.

Guests can spend many hours simply relaxing on the soft coral sands, or at the natural island spa.  There are many activities on offer for the more adventurous guest including snorkelling, scuba diving and big game fishing.  Hiking and mountain biking are favourite ways of exploring the island’s tropical jungles and picturesque coastline.
