Rovos Rail

The Rovos Rail is the most luxurious train in the world combining dramatic and stunning landscapes with the comfort of a moving 5 star hotel. It travels through some of South Africa's most spectacular landscapes and also journeys through Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana.

The train has 36 luxury suites and a large dining car serving exquisite cuisine including an enormous breakfast made to order. The deluxe and royal suites have en suite bathrooms or Victorian baths, and private lounge areas with spacious twin or double beds.The train also encompasses observation lounges and smoking lounges.

Cape Town to Pretoria (or vice versa)

The routes bring you face to face with the imposing Table Mountain, the winelands, the mining town of Kimberley and the Kruger National Park.

Cape Town to Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe
This two-night adventure travels through Baobab country before ending up in Zimbabwe. The train will continue in a north-westerly direction passing through Thompson’s Junction and Hwange Game Reserve to journeys end, the incomparable Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi River.
