Camps Bay Retreat is tucked away in the crook of a glen that runs between Lions Head and Table Mountain and is a peaceful paradise on one of the most magnificent estates in South Africa.
Comprising of four acres with waterfalls, mountain streams and pools, the views are simply splendid across the ever-changing Atlantic Ocean and along the peaks of the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
Camps Bay Retreat has two types of room – a deck room or an Earl Dyke Manor room. Most of which have sea views. The Retreat Kitchen, Camps Bay Retreat’s restaurant, provides an intimate dining experience. Their excellent Executive Chef uses everything from specially-aged meats, and fresh herbs, to fresh fish, braaiing (outdoor cooking over coals), steaming, poaching, frying or even making Sushi – his aim is always to delight and satisfy his guests in every way.
The hotel has facilities for business as well as a helicopter landing pad, a private wine cellar and a library. Here you will discover a variety of books on South African history, sport, fauna & flora, bird life and traveling. Also available from the library is a selection of DVDs which can be enjoyed in the comfort of your room.
The upmarket suburb of Camps Bay has a typical village atmosphere and is home to some of the trendiest restaurants and bars in Cape Town. It also boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Cape Town. Local life is casual.
