The a-la carte ‘Cape Colony’ restaurant has live music every evening, whilst Mediterranean style al fresco dining is offered in the ‘Oasis’ restaurant. The hotel is also renowned as having the best afternoon teas in Cape Town, which are served daily in the lounge.

The Mount Nelson has all facilities expected of a 5 star hotel: there are two heated pools, two floodlit tennis courts, a fitness centre with personal trainers, a golf practice net and hairdresser.
