Garden Route
The Garden Route is a spectacularly scenic area that follows the rugged coast between Mossel Bay in the east and Storms River in the west. The Garden Route consists of a mosaic of sweeping lakes and wetlands, empty, unspoilt beaches, amazing mountain passes, nature reserves, prehistoric caves and the country's largest indigenous forest.

The towns of Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Oudtshoorn and Montagu have some charming owner run B&B’s and small hotels which make ideal stopping off points on a self drive touring holiday along the Garden Route. To help you plan your trip we have organised our extensive collection of hand-picked hotels according to their location.
